Snow in the Morning. Sun in the Afternoon. A Visit from 9 Deer, Juncos and Mr. Cardinal, is part of his Nature Chronicles - Seeing What is Outside from Inside. This painting's title is a mark of remembrance for the animals that visited the studio/grounds that day. So many times in the Southern Appalachians, our winter storms break sometime early the next morning. Clouds are usually pushed by windy conditions, and the sun eventually breaks out into really bright and clear days.
This painting has come to inspire other successful paintings based on the design/layout of the canvas, structure and placement of things.
I truly cherish this one for all that it is. I hope to re-attempt to capture all things good about this one on a much bigger canvas - someday.
