Abstract Landscape 21 was painted at the same time as A.L.18 and A.L.19. He enjoys testing color mixes and their relationships directly in his paintings. #21 is the result of some of those paint - mixing sessions. In his processs, he mixes colors as he paints. He decides on color, value, viscosity, transparency, texture, etc. relationships as reactions to what he has already put on the canvas. #21 is like a color swatch test for #18 and 19.
